What's The New Facebook  Algorithm

Since the Mark Zuckerberg's 2018 announcement, that Facebook Algorithm will prioritize on "Meaningful Interactions" between friends and family over Contents and links from Brands.

On 11th January, 2018, Mark Zuckerberg announced that  Facebook will change it's News Feed Algorithm to prioritize content from "friends, family and groups"

Zuckerberg Wrote, 

"As we roll this out (The New Algorithm), "You'll see less public content like posts from businesses, brands, and media, and the public content you see more will be held to the same standard - it should encourage meaningful interactions between people."

What? Oh No.!

Before the new algorithm, if you publish a content link on Facebook. You will find out that every friend of yours and those engaging on your pages will see your the post on news feeds.

But what happened now? If you publish a post, it will be dropped down by people's interaction. 

That means Facebook it changing from too much of external links to an interactive platform. 

What's Interaction?

Since Mark stated Interaction in the latest announcement. What is Interaction? 

The new algorithm prioritize on Active Interactions. That are comment, sharing, comment replies over the like and click through, that is Passive Interactions.

Facebook wants the Platform to be a kind of "meaningful" interactions, by friends and families to keep in touch with each other. 

How to Work with the New Facebook Algorithm?

Mark gives a strong lead in his new announcement. Though it's complicated but it's also strong.

That's why you must use it in other to keep your ranking high. That lead is meaningful interaction. 

Facebook do not longer care how much time you spent using their platform. All they are looking for is the how meaningful are your contents and what you engaged in, that's the quality. 

But thanks to Facebook announcement, because it made me research on the tips I can use to boost my organic traffic on Facebook. That are the 7 tips.

Using the 7 Tips

Even though Facebook changes their algorithm, doesn't mean you can't get traffic from them or continue getting shares from them. 

But How?

That's by using this free tips I'm going to share with you right now. Like i said earlier, this tips are very easy to use. Here they are;

Tip #1: Comment Click Through

I Personally call this Comment Click Though method. But I got this from Neil Patel (Founder: NielPatel.com) and Brian Dean (Founder: Backlinko). 

It works this way. - When you are putting Facebook status update or you are talking about a new article and want to introduce it your public, at the end tell them checkout the first comment if you click through I have something for you.

For example, if I'm posting an article on Best Ideas for Content Writing on Blog 2018 | Secret Revealed.

I can leave a long description but informative in my status update, and say -  if you want more checkout the first comment. I have linked it to the article.

What will happen?

Boom!. You've tricked the New Facebook Algorithm with just the first tip. 

Now Facebook will not penalize you because of the link since you put it in the first comment, and that was you. Lets see the second tip.

Tip #2: Use Videos & other Engaging Contents

Since links are been penalized by the New Facebook algorithm, Why shouldn't you use engaging contents like videos and other various related stuffs. 

Even though they are hard to covert, but they will create more engagement on your fan pages. 

That's what Facebook are looking for, engagements, average time spent on the content, story type, how informative the post is. When your audience are engaging your Feed rankings will boost high. 

But that still depends on which type of Videos your are creating. You have to produce appealing and interactive contents to your audience. If not you will not be able to get more engagements at the first place.

Tip #3: Reply to Comments

You might think why do you reply to comments all the time. No! successful bloggers or influencers did that.

You have to respond to almost every single comment on your post in order to keep them tracked. People loves happy, if you are not interacting with them, they say - you are suffering from Sociophobia. 

They will leave and never come back to you updates. That's why you need to respond to every comment on your post.

Tip #4: Build your Community

You have a group make use of it to trick the new Facebook algorithm. 

Like you know Facebook Groups are already build for audience engagements, this will serve you well with the new algorithm. Encourage your customers to follow your Facebook pages in order to increase engagement.

Find the right audience to participate on your groups, in order to generate relevant comments. Let's hit the fifth tip.

And when promoting your contents, lookup the time. You know the time differs. Try to schedule your content by your audience time, and time that they are really in need of what you are publishing.
